Audit Trail fails if the WP configuration constant 'DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT' is set to 'true' – i.e /wp-admin/tools.php?page=audit-trail.php fails to load w/ the message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”. Tested w/ WP 3.9 and Audit Trail 1.1.16.
For reference / note to self: there might be a possible workaround in using the custom 'audit_trail' capability.
